Who We Are

Archie Macpherson is a director and cinematographer known for his intuitive, atmospheric style and his commitment to telling stories of resilience, ecology, and human connection.

Raised in the Scottish Highlands, he studied film in Prague before working across London, South America, and the U.S. on documentaries, commercials, branded content, and major television productions. His work has earned industry recognition, including a D&AD Wood Pencil Award.

He cofounded Reforest Films to collaborate with purpose-led partners and create cinematic work that honors culture, land, and lived experience.

Aurora Leonard is a producer and storyteller known for blending emotional depth with creative precision. With a background in theatre, film, and television, she brings a practiced understanding of performance, rhythm, and story to every set.

Before cofounding Reforest Films, she helped transform and scale a mission driven nonprofit founded by Ram Dass redesigning its operations, expanding its global reach, and deepening its impact for individuals at the end of life. Her stage and screen work has earned recognition, including an LA Drama Critics Circle Award nomination and festival honors for her recent film Sonny Boy.

Aurora leads production and operations with clarity, care, and a deep commitment to purposeful filmmaking.
